How long have you been in business?

What is your primary product or service?
We service musical instruments including warranty repair. We sell new, used, and vintage string instruments including violin, mandolin, guitar, ukelele and banjo family of instruments. We also have lines of various accessories including strings, gig bags, and drums.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Nowa Crosby builds and repairs string instruments and had been a Luthier for over 20 years. He traveled to Xeraco, Valecia in Spain to engage the expertise of Spanish guitar maker Batiste Bofi. Nowa began to build his own line of instruments, the Randolin Music Instruments in the 1980s. He has been an authorized warranty luthier for Martin Guitar, Fender, Taylor, and other leading brand instruments for many years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our focus is on human service, not customer service. In other words, not every person that walks in the door do we expect to sell something to, but we do expect to have an interaction with and a sharing or imparting of information about an instrument, a product, a service or just the simple exchange of ideas of who and what we are as people.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have a store and a partial workshop at 215 College in Burlington and a larger workshop and storage facility at my home in Shelburne. We just completed a move that tripled our downtown presence.

credit cards, debit cards, cash and checks. We accept Canadian currency at equal value at this time.
Which areas do you service?
All areas around the United States. We also service our Canadian neighbors particularly in Quebec. We service all string musical instruments. We do everything from simple set ups to major restoration of most string instruments and are the warranty centers for Martin Guitars, Taylor Guitars, Fender Musical Instruments and Eastman Musical Instruments.

Nowa and Maria Delia Crosby, maintained and operated by Nowa.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10AM- 6:30pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10AM -5:30pm, Saturdays 11AM - 4PM
